MESSAGE FROM THE DIRECTOR:
Welcome! I greet you with an abundance of love and invite you to experience Black Nativity Durham. I am excited to present this soulful, gospel musical about the birth of Jesus for the 18th year! Allow us to take you on a journey with Mary and Joseph seeking a place to deliver her baby. This production has been recognized by the Durham Herald-Sun newspaper as "One of Durham's Top Ten Holiday Traditions." Working with the community at large on this project is always very rewarding. Many artists and churches are represented on this project and the Durham community comes together in UNITY.
I would like to thank the talented cast and crew for such powerful and moving performances. Also, thank you to the professional staff who work so hard to bring this story to life. Let us all continue to know the reason for the Christmas season and rejoice in the Lord.
